Hypotheticalim Dilemma

ShoppingGuilty Hyena4 Comments

I have a fetish for white hues, particularly since we have hit the spring summer season. This Optic White Mini Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel would hit the bulls-eye! I do my utmost best to limit big designer handbag purchases, I do prefer to scout for new under the radar smaller branded bags, but like many I'm also compelled and seduced by prominent designers, like the above.

Phillip Lim has also chosen a floral print on a black background design, for those who prefer this over the classic hues and textures, the black background it's just neutral enough that you can get away with wearing it with everything. I'm also still crushing over this Phillip Lim transformable vest. Post in collaboration with Avenue 32.

The hypothetical dilemma, acquire the beautiful bag ? or save it for a holiday?

Golden Chain Ankle Boots

Roll on 2014 ~ How's January treating you so far ? Truth be told - I have been becoming a little domesticated lately, instead of taking advantage of the January sales, scouring for clothes, shoes and accessories, I've had to focus on home improvements. They say a Clean Home = Clear Mind.

I've been craving chain ankle boots since I clapped eyes on these Givenchy boots, there was an ice cubes chance in hell I would be buying those, so I've patiently waited for an inspired look from the high street. I came across the 'Kurt Geiger strike chain booties' but in the end I opted for the Chicwish ankle boots with chunky golden chain tying on front.

It's that time of the year again. . .if you're stuck for idea's, here's the beginning of my Holiday gift guide to spark some inspiration, I leave it up to me and my trusty mouse to do all my shopping online, whilst sipping some green tea, I know a cup of hot chocolate would sound better but I can never find me a good brand lately, either too sickly sweet or bitter. If you don't fancy the color black, I hope to add a few more gift guides this coming week.

Embellished Beanies : Autumn Winter Headwear

ShoppingGuilty Hyena11 Comments

My little noggin gets cold during the nippy season of autumn and winter and sometimes casual beanies just don't cut the muster when I make an attempt to sharpen up my attire. If I could have it my way, I could quite possibly stick with wearing cosy beanies and quilted jogging pants all throughout winter, but I need to snap out of cursing the cold and dressing nonchalantly.

Heck Yeah! to the embellished gem beanies for creating a chic as well as casual guise to an outfit, I happily wear mine with smart or casual attire. It also had occurred to me that I can now utilize unused brooches to accessorize a plain beanie, or I could even raid my mother's old brooches to create a timeless vintage look to a beanie much like the cameo beanie.

I've avoided buying the Silver Spoon cameo beanie since last year as a good old D.I.Y would prove to be more cost savvy. There are some pretty nifty embellished beanie D.I.Y's on the blogosphere if you are looking for ideas. I'm just happy as Larry that my beanies keep me warm like a Canada goose jacket when bitter chills of winter bite on those cold unfriendly nights.

Reiss Spring Summer Sale

ShoppingGuilty Hyena7 Comments

Wedding season is in full swing, and don't I just know it, 2013 has been in particular a chock-a-block calendar full of weddings and engagements however this summer I'll be squeezing in two separate wedding events in one day, luckily the venue of the events are located 30 minutes apart. I'm usually sorted for wedding guest outfits but some of them are getting a little snug for my comfort eeeek! Yup I blame it on the numerous BBQ's, though It's probably a blessing as I could do with freshening up the wedding guest outfits. I've been searching for pastel colored outfits and a more structured tailored look and came across Reiss, who have a large summer sale happening right now.

Whilst I was browsing on Reiss, I chanced upon the women's Reiss 1971 collection, the new nineteen seventy one collection from Reiss for SS13. I have to admit I never payed much attention to the edgier sub brand before, but a few of the pieces ticked the box for what I was looking for and I was also drawn to the  everyday apparel too.

I'm loving quilted pieces on everything right now, whether that maybe on shorts trousers or tops and the Dijon quilted sweatshirt is top of my wishlist, ideal for the confused weather we have right now. I wanted to get my hands on the Reiss Grafton Mini Lock Across Body Bag for some time now, but it's sold out everywhere, it's the white + chrome and the fabric that does it for me, I hope that on the minuscule off chance it could appear on ebay, but I'm not holding my breath for it.

Speaking of weddings, being of Asian descent, Asian weddings are immensely exhausting, usually it's a three day marathon affair filled with rituals and searching for an outfit for these occasions are a serious pain in the butt! but if ever there's a reason to get dressed up, it is a wedding. To my readers from the U.S have a smashin 4th of July. X
